Yes, there was and is a continuing effort by the US navy to train dolphins in the art of war, this rumor was first circulated during the Vietnam War that dolphins were trained by the Navy to detect and hopefully kill enemy divers keep them from sabotaging boats and navy equipment. So the next time you see a dolphin at sea world, this might be agent double O dolphin.
